The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) has announced the trainers for is two new certification programs debuting at Auto Glass Week™ 2025 in Reno, Nevada: Glass Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Specialist and Customer Service Representative (CSR). The first training and testing sessions for these certifications will be held in meeting room A12 of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on Thursday, September 11, and are open to all badged attendees.

The first session, AGSC™ Glass ADAS Specialist Certification Training and Testing, will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. and led by Jacques Navant, AGSC’s president and ADAS committee chair.
“As ADAS develops, there are a lot of gray areas and misinformation out there,” said Navant. “This certification will establish a baseline for technicians to know they’re recalibrating properly.”
The Glass ADAS Specialist Certification verifies that technicians understand how key ADAS components function, the importance of recalibration, and how to properly use recalibration systems in the field.
The second session, Customer Service Representative (CSR) Certification Training and Testing, is scheduled for 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. (also Thursday, September 11), and will be led by Patricia Smiley, president of Quackt Glass, and Jeff Olive, AGSC’s director of quality and training.

It reinforces critical customer interaction skills, such as handling upset or confused customers, and provides comprehensive training on the Automotive Glass Replacement Safety Standard™ (AGRSS). Participants will leave with a strong grasp of customer service fundamentals and industry safety standards.

These two certifications are part of many training opportunities at Auto Glass Week™ 2025, where attendees can earn up to eight industry-recognized certifications.
