2016 AGSC Validation Survey Results

The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) surveyed validated locations in 2016, and provided Orion with the results. Orion is pleased to report the results of the survey that are applicable to our roles within the validation process. 

Of special note is the fact that 100 percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed with the statement “The audit is something my shop and technicians would gladly undergo again.”  This is a testament to the level of commitment and dedication of AGSC members as well as a reflection of the time and energy with which the AGSC has maintained the validation program. In addition, no location disagreed or strongly disagreed with any of the statements reported below.

Scheduling

• The date and time was clearly given. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.
• The date and time was provided early enough to schedule the necessary windshield installation job(s). One-hundred percent of those who responded agreed.
• The scheduler was pleasant to work with and professional in relation to the scheduling of the audit.  Fifty percent of those who responded strongly agreed, 25 percent agreed and 25 percent were not sure.

Validator (Auditor)

• The auditor was professional. One-hundred percent of those who responded agreed.
• The auditor was pleasant to work with. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.
• The auditor was easy to understand. Fifty percent of those who responded agreed, and 50 percent were not sure.
• The auditor used time effectively. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.

Findings/Conclusions

• The auditor’s findings/conclusions of the audit were fair. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.
• The auditor’s findings/conclusions of the audit were communicated clearly and were easy to understand. Eight-three percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed. Seventeen percent were not sure.
• The auditor’s findings/conclusions of the audit explained the next step in the audit process clearly and sufficiently. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.

Validation/Audit

• The audit was a good experience for my shop and technicians. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.
• The audit provided valuable information for my shop and technicians. Eighty-three percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed. Seventeen percent were not sure.
• The audit is something my shop and technicians would gladly undergo again. One-hundred percent of those who responded either strongly agreed or agreed.
