AGSC’s Spring Meetings are being held in Hawaii this year for several reasons. First, the Council tries to go to Hawaii once every 20 years to support its members there. In fact, Hawaii has among the largest concentrations of AGSC-registered companies and technicians in the country. In addition, it allows members from faraway places like Singapore and Guam to attend more easily.
Though the average airfare from the East Coast to Hawaii is approximately $120 more round-trip than airfare from the East Coast to the West Coast, where the meeting is typically held, it does provide an opportunity for attendees who wish to stay on their own a lovely venue in which to do so.
