2015 validations have begun. As in previous years, the validators will be conducting 2015 validations to the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS®) ANSI/AGRSS 002-2002 version. We will be using the same process and the same forms as in 2014.
In order to provide locations with assistance in transitioning to the newly published version of the Standard, we will also be advising your location of any gaps your program has with regards to the requirements of the new version of the Standard, ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS 003-2015. While noncompliances to the older version are formally documented on a Noncompliance Report, this is not yet the case for the new version. Identification of any gaps is provided to you informally to aid you in your transition.
Since the new Standard has been published, now is the time for all locations to implement all requirements of the new version of the Standard.
