New York Bill Addresses Rear Side Window Tinting

A bill is under review in the New York legislature that addresses rear side window tinting.

The bill, S 4484, “relates to the permissible level of rear side window tinting for all vehicles; [and] provides such vehicles shall have a light transmittance of no less than seventy percent.”

The bill was introduced on March 13 and referred to the Senate Transportation Committee.
