Aaron Gagnon of Aaron’s AutoGlass Inc. in Fairhaven, Mass., recently earned his Master Auto Glass Technician certification with the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC).

He has been in the auto glass industry for six years. “I started in the industry as a technician trainee,” says Gagnon. “I started off looking for a career with fair earnings potential. I went from a trainee, to a technician, and then went on to be a store manager. I decided to go off on my own just over a year ago and started my own auto glass replacement business.”

Gagnon decided to pursue his Master certification because he is “always up for a challenge.” “I am always interested in ways I can better myself personally and professionally and felt this was the best way to do so,” he says. “I believe it also shows people that you actually care about the work that you do and are not out there just to make a quick buck.”

In his spare time, Gagnon enjoys “reading about businesses, the challenges they face, and reading about those who lead their businesses.”

Additionally, he enjoys motorcycles and dirt bikes. “It’s always nice to go for a little cruise around town on my motorcycle with my girlfriend Sarah,” says Gagnon. “And when I’m not doing that, I enjoy going to our local motocross track.”
