As you are probably aware, there has been a lot of legislative activity recently with regard to auto glass repair and replacement, whether it is relating to service contracts, OEM requirements and insurance payments, window film or ADAS calibrations.
Did you know that AGSC now monitors auto glass related legislative activity across the United States?
As bills are introduced and move through the legislative process, AGSC sends out press release alerts to our members who might be affected by this legislation.
We have also created a Legislative Alert box on the homepage of our website, www.agsc.org.
We have tried to make it easy for you to locate the legislative activity that is taking place within your state. When you “CLICK HERE” to see if there is any pending legislation in your state, you are taken to a page that lists the legislative alert press releases by state.
If you are concerned that any of the legislative activities occurring in your state may have implications for your business, we encourage you to contact your state legislators as well as AGSC.
To find out the names of your legislators or more information about a particular bill, click on the “contact your state legislators” link in the Legislative Alerts box. Clicking on this link will take you to the Congress.gov website. Click on your state on the map of the United States. This will take you to your state’s legislative homepage. Most states have a place on this page where you can search for the names of your state legislators as well as search for a particular bill to find more information about the bill.
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me at kbimber@agsc.org. I will do my best to assist you or point you in the right direction.
