A bill is under review in the Florida legislature that aims to “prohibit motor vehicle repair shops and their employees, and other specified persons, from offering anything of value to customers in exchange for making insurance claims for motor vehicle windshield glass replacement or repair.”
The bill, H 169, was introduced in the Florida House on September 16. A similar bill was introduced in the Senate on September 17.
