The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) will offer an Insurers’ Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Forum on Tuesday afternoon, October 3, just before Auto Glass Week™ gets underway in West Palm Beach, Fla. Participants, including AGSC Certified Technicians, can earn three continuing education credits for their participation in the forum.
AGSC members (along with insurance company agents and representatives and AGSC Certified Technicians) can attend free of charge.
This will be the second year the AGSC has held a CEU course for insurers. This year, the AGSC will provide lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the class will follow from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Industry veteran Joel Timmons of Profitable Glass Solutions will lead the course. During the session, Timmons will teach agents and insurance company representatives about the AGRSS™ Standard as well as the AGSC, AGSC Registered Member Companies, and how they work to ensure the safety of policyholders. Upon completion, the course will provide three CE units to insurance agents, along with three CE units (one CE unit in installation topics and two CE units in standards and information) to any AGSC Certified Technicians who attend. At press time, more than 30 insurers had signed up to attend.
