West Willow Auto Glass may be a new AGSC-registered member, but owner/operator Brian Crandall says he feels as though he’s always been part of AGSC.

“I’ve always strived to follow the Automotive Glass Replacement Safety Standard™ (AGRSS) and made sure all the technicians I’ve trained followed it, too,” he says. “I’ve worked for AGSC members in the past, so making West Willow an AGSC member just seemed like the right choice.”

Like other AGSC members, Brian Crandall prioritizes keeping customers safe.

Crandall founded Lawrenceburg, Tennessee-based West Willow in January of 2025. He’d just left a job at another company and took the opportunity to start one of his own.

“It was something I always wanted, but I just needed that push,” he says.

Crandall bought a 28-year-old truck, purchased an LLC, named his new company after the street he grew up on and got to work. The company has seen “a lot of growth” over the past year, he says, and he decided it was time to become an AGSC member.

“My Master Technician certification was set to expire this year, and I wanted to keep that ‘certified’ rather than ‘qualified’ status,” he says. “Plus, I want to be able to represent the industry well to my customers and show how much I care about safety.”

“AGSC has always done so much for me, so it’s important to me to back the association,” he adds.

AGSC membership will also help him continue his legacy of AGRSS adherence as he hires other technicians.
