Industry leader David Rohlfing was honored today with the Carl F. Tompkins Award for Excellence in Auto Glass Safety. Rohlfing, senior vice president of operations for Club Assist North America and president of CARS and Club Logistics Services, was honored for his long-time commitment to safety in the auto glass industry and his work with the AGSC. The award was presented at a ceremony this morning in San Antonio, Texas, where Auto Glass Week™ ’16 is being held.
Rohlfing’s industry expertise spans an impressive four decades. He sits on the AGSC board of directors and holds the position of vice president. He has worked tirelessly to advance AGSC’s cause across the globe serving as the organization’s international outreach director.
Rohlfing started in 1972 as an auto glass installer and has gone on to hold positions with some of the largest auto glass operations in the world. He has a proven history of leading organizations to exceptional growth and profitability, and has held many leadership positions. He has hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions, sales and operations, marketing, distribution, purchasing and finance.
“David has been an outstanding advocate for safety and has worked tirelessly on behalf of the AGSC,” said AGSC president Debra Levy. The award was presented to Rohlfing by Tompkins himself this morning at Auto Glass Week.
