Consumer education is one of the most important aspects of an auto glass repair and replacement company owner or manager’s job. That’s especially true for Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) registered member companies, who ensure customers understand just how important proper auto glass installation is. AGSC offers several resources, including customized videos.
AGSC has a series of three videos explaining the importance of safe windshield installations, how Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) work and why post-replacement calibrations are a must.
AGSC members can request customized versions of these videos that include their logos and branding. Members can post the videos on their websites, share them directly with customers, or even play them on a waiting room television without disrupting their brand cohesion.
Zuhair Madanat, owner of AGSC-registered member Auto Glass Experts, requested one of these customized videos in January.
Watch Auto Glass Experts’ customized video HERE.“Most of the customers who call our shop have no clue what’s going on and have no idea what shop to choose,” he says. “Posting these videos educates potential customers just visiting my website.”
Madanat adds that the customized branding helps take a burden off his shoulders.
“I try my best to make videos and other content as a small business owner, but I feel like I don’t do well on camera,” he says. “These branded videos offer a layer of professionalism and legitimacy I don’t have time or resources to create.”
“This is a hugely valuable service that AGSC offers,” Madanat adds. “I’m actually in the process of getting two more customized AGSC videos.”
Ultimate Auto Glass & Electronics is among the most recent AGSC members to request the service. Trainer Walter Mills hopes the videos will educate more than consumers.

“We’ll show them to insurers to help prove that we take safety seriously,” he says.
