Window Film Bill Introduced in New York

A bill that “provides an exemption to the prohibition on tinted windows in automobiles for emergency ambulance service vehicles” has been introduced in New York.

The bill, S8616, was introduced to the Senate on May 10 and referred to the Transportation Committee. There is an identical bill under review in the New York Assembly, A 10395.

The Senate bill was introduced by Sen. Toby Ann Stavisky.
