West Virginia Service Contract Bill Passes

Service Contract legislation has passed in the West Virginia legislature and awaits signature by the Governor. The bill adds “the repair of chips or cracks in, or the replacement of, motor vehicle windshields as a result of damage caused by road hazards” to the definition of a Service Contract that is exempt from West Virginia insurance law. It also adds repairing windshield chips and cracks on leased vehicles to the service contract definition.
