In order to be as fair and transparent as possible, the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) has established and published the AGRSS™ Validation Appeals Process. It is available as part of “Attachment C – Your Guide to Your Third-Party Validation Audit” on the AGSC.org website.

Any company receiving a Noncompliant Report or a Noncompliant after Corrective Action Report may file an appeal with the Validation Review Board (VRB) within 30 days of receipt of its report. The following information should be provided to the VRB:

1) Name of the shop and the date of validation or revalidation audit;

2) Items requiring corrective action (i.e. instances of non-compliance); and

3) Reasons for the appeal and associated evidence.

Notice of such appeal must arrive at the AGSC office above no later than 30 days after the audit report was provided to the company. The VRB will respond in writing within 90 days.
