The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) will hold an Insurers’ CEU Forum for the insurance community on Wednesday, September 26, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants, including AGSC Certified Technicians, can earn three continuing education credits for their participation in the forum—one credit in installation topics and two credits in standards and information.
AGSC members (along with insurance company agents and representatives and AGSC Certified Technicians) can attend free of charge.
The course will be held in conjunction with Auto Glass Week™ 2018 and the AGSC Member Meeting.
Industry veteran Joel Timmons of Profitable Glass Solutions will lead the educational program. During the course, Timmons will teach attendees about the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ Standard as well as the AGSC, AGSC Registered Member Companies, and how they work to ensure the safety of policyholders.
The seminar will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All those in attendance are invited to stay and attend a lunch with insurers from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The course and lunch will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
“This is a simple and informative way to earn CE credits,” says Vincent Lamarco, director of certifications for AGSC. “We hope many will take advantage of this opportunity.”
This is the third course of this kind that the AGSC has offered. Last year, the association held a CE course for insurers in West Palm Beach, Fla., as part of Auto Glass Week™ 2017.
