South Carolina Bill Seeks to Amend Window Tint Law

A bill has been pre-filed in South Carolina that proposes to amend Section 56-5-5015, “to revise the permitted level of light transmission for sunscreening devices installed on the windshield, side windows and rear window of a motor vehicle.”

The bill was pre-filed by Rep. J. Todd Rutherford on December 13 and referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
