Rhode Island Aftermarket Parts Bill Moves Forward

The Rhode Island House Corporation has recommended passage of a bill related to aftermarket autobody parts.

The bill, HB 8013, “amends provisions of law relative to motor vehicle replacement parts specifications time limits for using aftermarket body parts, and notification to the vehicle owner of the intention to use aftermarket body parts.”

The bill was introduced on March 29 and referred to the House Corporations Committee. The committee recommended its passage on June 12.
