The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) is in the final stretch of the harmonization of its Registered Member Company program and its Certified Auto Glass Technician program. The programs will be joined together by the end of December 2018.
All technicians of Registered Member Companies must be certified by AGSC by December 31, 2018—and all technicians will need to ensure their certifications are up-to-date.
“We encourage technicians to double-check the expiration of their AGSC certifications at this time,” says AGSC director of certification Vinny Lamarco. “It is imperative that these are current in order to ensure that all Registered Member Companies maintain their registration.”
Any company whose technicians are not AGSC certified or whose AGSC certifications are not current by December 31 will be removed from AGSC’s list of Registered Member Companies.
