Ohio Enacts Law Defining an Insurance Rating Agency

The Ohio legislature recently enacted a law that aims to “define an insurance rating agency.”

The bill, SB 273, was introduced to the Ohio Senate in March and passed the Senate in June. It passed the House on December 12 and was returned to the Senate for concurrence. The Senate voted to concur on the House amendments on December 13. The Ohio governor signed the bill on December 19.
