AGSC Committees Met via Zoom in January
The Auto Glass Safety Council conducted its winter meetings in early January. The meetings were held via Zoom after the planned in-person meetings in Tampa, FL had to be scuttled due to the Omicron variant.

AGSC Technician Certification Requirement for Members
It is a requirement of AGSC membership that all auto glass replacement (AGR) technicians employed by AGSC Registered Member Companies be AGSC certified technicians.

Why Not Volunteer?
AGSC has several committees, including two standards committees, that can always use more volunteers.

Can We Use Your Pictures?
AGSC is looking for photos of how AGSC Registered Member Companies market their AGSC Registration to their customers.

We would love to receive pictures of your technicians with their technician accreditation and AGSC Registered Member Company patches on their uniforms, shirts or aprons. Pictures showing the AGSC Registered Member Company window clings on your shop or vehicle windows or the AGSC Registered Member Company counter signs, brochures or registration certificate in your lobby are also greatly appreciated. Who knows? You just may end up on the cover of the next AGSC Member Directory sent to insurers who request it.

Photos that are in 300 dpi and as large as possible are best, but all are welcome.

Please submit your pictures by email to Kathy Bimber at with your contact information.

Virginia HB 699 Proposed by Delegate Mark Keam
The beginning of the new year also means the beginning of the state legislative session in many states, and it looks like it is going to be a busy legislative year for auto glass. Some state legislatures operate on a two-year cycle like the U.S. Congress, but several others conduct short – 45, 60 or 90 day – legislative sessions at the beginning of the year.
