New York Senator Introduces Bill Related to Vehicle Window Tint

A bill has been filed in the New York legislature that “relates to the permissible level of rear side window tinting for all vehicles; provides such vehicles shall have a light transmittance of no less than 70 percent.”

The bill was introduced on January 5 by Sen. Michael H. Ranzenhofer and referred to the Senate Transportation Committee.
