The New Hampshire legislature has passed a bill that aims to “establish a committee to study reimbursement rates under automobile policies.” Both the House and Senate have voted to adopt the bill.
The bill, HB 1663, originally sought to add language to the law noting that “the ‘fair and reasonable price’ [for auto glass work] shall not be lower than that customarily paid to a repair shop or facility in the area that is part of or affiliated with an automobile dealership.”
The House voted that the bill “ought to pass” on March 6 and the Senate voted the same on April 5.
