Jace Geffken has had an amazing year so far. He recently returned from competing in the Auto Glass Week™ 2024 Auto Glass Calibration Competition, and back in January, he showed his commitment to the auto glass industry by renewing his AGSC Master Auto Glass Technician certification.
Jace Geffken believes in the value of certification.In addition to his technical prowess, Geffken serves as the chief operating officer of Transparency Auto Glass in Garner, North Carolina. He began his auto glass career there in 2018.
“Auto glass, to me, is more than just a job. It is a passion I, as well as everyone here at Transparency Auto Glass, have. We take auto glass work very seriously,” Geffken says. “This includes everything from staying up to date with the ever-changing industry to adhering to the highest standards that we can.
To demonstrate his commitment to safety, Geffken says he must stay current with the “ever-changing” industry and adhere to the highest standards he can, such as the AGRSS Standard.
“Becoming a Master Certified Technician with the Auto Glass Safety Council felt like a necessary step to take in order to better my skills as well as relay to my customers that I have the training and knowledge to provide them with the best possible installation for their vehicle,” he says.
Geffken says Ronnie Scoggins, owner of Transparency Auto Glass, is one of the people he admires most in the industry.
“He is basically a brother to me and one of the best auto glass technicians in the industry,” he says.
In addition to enjoying his job, Geffken loves getting outdoors to hike, bike and run. He is also an avid traveler.
