The Montana Senate Highways and Transportation Committee recently held a hearing about a bill that aims to “requir[e] an automobile repair business or location to conduct repairs in accordance with directives by the original equipment manufacturer, and prohibit insurers from disregarding repair directives.”
The bill, SB 251, was introduced on February 12 and referred to the Senate Highways and Transportation Committee on February 13. A committee hearing was held about the bill on February 14.
