Brian Crandall
Brian Crandall of Jack Morris Auto Glass in Memphis, Tenn., recently renewed his Master Auto Glass Technician certification with the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC).
Crandall has been in the industry for nearly 16 years. He got into the industry when he and his wife decided to start a family and he felt he needed to increase his income, previously having worked at Taco Bell. “My wife’s uncle was an auto glass technician,“ he recalls. “The company he worked for was looking for someone to ‘train.‘ It wasn’t much training, but it got my foot in the door and I wouldn’t be here today if it hadn’t been for that first step.“
He says his “true start was with Auto Glass Specialists in Madison, Wis.“ Several industry veterans helped provide Crandall with a solid foundation, he says. These include Steve Coyle and Jeff Richie from Performance Achievement Group.
“I have paid my dues in the industry and take a lot of pride in my work,“ says Crandall. “[Earning] a Master Certification, I feel, solidifies my integrity of what I do best.“
