Iowa Window Film Bill Passes Senate

The Iowa legislature currently is reviewing a bill that aims to specify a required minimum light transmittance of 35 percent for windshields, side windows and side wings to the front, left or right of driver.

The bill, S2037, was introduced on January 16 and referred to the Senate Transportation Committee. The bill passed the Senate on February 20 and is now under review by the House Transportation Committee.
