Government Relations Committee to Meet in Orlando

The AGSC Government Relations Committee will meet on Monday, June 7 at noon in Room 240C in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL during Auto Glass Week. AGSC Vice President Mike Schenian of City Auto Glass, South St. Paul, Minnesota, chairs the committee.

The June 7 meeting is open to all AGSC Members. The Government Relations Committee is leading AGSC’s effort to adopt model auto glass safety legislation into state law as was recently done in Maryland. The committee will welcome new committee members and discuss strategies to adopt the model legislation in other states, review bills addressing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and address legislative and governmental issues that affect auto glass repair and replacement safety.
