Mike Paley
Mike Paley, former owner of Freedom Glass in Midlothian, Va., and a former Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) board member, passed away last year after a motorcycle crash in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Paley, 55, founded Freedom Glass in 2004 and sold it a few years ago to move to Myrtle Beach. Paley’s company was the first company to complete a successful third-party validation review when the AGSC’s program was launched in November 2009.
Paley is survived by three sons, Jason (Maria), Justin (Hailey) and Austin. He is also survived by a grandson, Parks Paley; a sister, Michelle Burmaster; and his loving companion, Tasha Damon.
Paley served his country as a U.S. Marine for nine years from 1977 to 1986.
