Equalizer Opens Auto Glass Academy

March 22, 2016

Equalizer has announced that it is opening a training school called Auto Glass Academy. The first class will be held April 11-14.

Auto Glass Academy was designed to provide affordable, instructor-driven, hands-on technician training to the auto glass and auto body industries, according to Equalizer. The four-day course focuses on technical training, time-management, customer service and safety using the company’s products.

The school’s instructors are Auto Glass Safety Council™-certified.

“When Gilbert Gutierrez, global education director, began his career at Equalizer in 1992, he created a training process to support our products,” says Eric Asbery, president of Equalizer. “Gilbert has now expanded that service that we have provided our customers over the years into the Auto Glass Academy … Gilbert’s determination to bring the Auto Glass Academy into mainstream education is a direct reflection of his vision of an industry where everyone can benefit. Equalizer is committed to continue on our global mission to bring quality auto glass removal, replacement and repair education to the industry.”
