Can’t make it to the technician boot camps or business owner/manager seminar in Ontario this week? Don’t worry, there will be more opportunities to attend the training sessions in 2025.
AGSC is offering live training to become an AGSC-certified replacement technician and live training to become a certified repair technician in four locations this year. After the training sessions, attendees can take the certification test online at no charge.
And, for business owners and managers, AGSC created a special session on future-proofing your business, dealing with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), new BAR regulations, insurance issues and out-of-the-box ways to find employees. Jacques Navant, AGSC’s President, leads this session.
“It’s the perfect kickoff point for 2025,” he says. “We’re going to take steps to eliminate the gray in a lot of areas, work on normalizing ADAS and offer key insight on recruiting.”
AGSC President Jacques Navant will lead a number of in-person education sessions for business managers and owners throughout the country this year.
The Technician Boot Camp: AGSC Certification Training has already had success at Auto Glass Week™ 2024 and in Cancun, Mexico. The Repair Boot Camp: NWRD Technician Certification Training and owners/managers session will also be taking place in Ontario, California, the day after AGSC’s in-person winter meetings.
In the spring, the educational sessions are headed to San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday, May 7 and Reno, Nevada, on September 11. The September sessions will be held in conjunction with Auto Glass Week™ 2025 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
These will be followed by Technician Certification Boot Camps in Northern New Jersey in November. The exact date and location of these trainings are to be announced shortly.
Navant says he’s encouraging feedback from attendees at each session so AGSC can deliver the best education possible.
