Auto Glass Week™ will offer a range of activities and educational opportunities for the entire industry, and representatives of Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) Registered Member Companies will be sure to want to attend, as there are a number of AGSC-related activities in which to take part.
Among these, this year the AGSC is holding a Member Reception and Update on Tuesday, September 3. The reception is open to members and will give them a chance to network, learn from one another, and learn the latest about the AGSC. It runs 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Additionally, a number of meetings will be held during Auto Glass Week.
The AGSC ADAS Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. The AGSC board of directors will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. on the same day.
The AGSC AGRSS™ Standards Committee Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 4, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The AGSC Credentialing Committee meeting will run on Thursday, September 5, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. The Education Committee will meet on the same day from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The AGSC will hold a mock audit on Thursday, September 5, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Penny Ouellette from Orion Registrar Inc., the third-party firm that administers the AGSC’s audit program, and technician Jason Olejniczak with Glass America, an AGSC Registered Member Company, will lead the mock audit. Olejniczak will install a windshield while Ouellette completes the mock audit; some examples of noncompliance will be included intentionally so that those in attendance can see first-hand how the audit process works.
Also on September 5, the AGSC will hold its 13th Annual Silent Charity Auction. The auction will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Networking Cocktail Party. The final bids will be taken at 5:15 p.m.
Finally, on Friday, September 6, the AGSC Marketing Committee will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also, AGSC will offer its technician training course and certification exam.
