The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) is in the final stretch of the harmonization of its Registered Member Company program and its Certified Auto Glass Technician program. The programs will be joined together by the end of the month.
Auto glass replacement technicians at all Registered Member Companies are required to be certified by AGSC by December 31, 2018. “It is important to note that this means technicians need to have taken and passed the AGSC’s technician certification exam to be considered certified,” says Vincent Lamarco, director of certifications for AGSC.
New technicians of Registered Member Companies will be required to be certified within six months of their hire date. If the technician is already AGSC Qualified or AGSC Certified when hired, then he/she will be still be considered certified at your company.
If you are unsure if you are certified by the AGSC, please refer to this link to ensure your name appears: https://agsc.org/technicians.php.
Please contact email@example.com with questions about the harmonization.
Please note: The offices of the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) are closed December 21 through January 2 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The office will re-open on Thursday, January 3.
