AGSC Releases ADAS Calibration Videos

June 1, 2022

The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) has created two Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration related videos entitled “The Importance of ADAS” and “Understanding Calibration” to assist its members with explaining ADAS and calibration to their customers and the insurance agents with whom they work.

“Proper calibration of the ADAS in a vehicle after auto glass replacement is integral to the safety of the vehicle,” said Jacques Navant, AGSC ADAS Committee chairperson and developer of the videos. “AGSC created these videos to explain what ADAS are and why a calibration is necessary after a windshield has been replaced.”

“AGSC members put the safety of their customers first and making sure the ADAS are properly calibrated is an important part of that safety protocol,” said Mike Schenian, AGSC president. “We hope our members take advantage of these videos to explain ADAS and the importance of calibration to their customers,” he added.

AGSC members can obtain copies of these videos in the member resources section of the AGSC website at www.agsc.org/members/ or by emailing Kathy Bimber at kbimber@agsc.org.
