Ready for a close-up? In just a few short months, the AGSC documentary will premiere at Auto Glass Week™ in San Antonio, Texas. “Anatomy of a Disruptor: The Auto Glass Safety Council at 25” will cover the Council’s entire history, from the founding of the Automotive Glass Replacement Safety Standard™ (AGRSS) through today.
The 35-minute film delves into all the key points of AGSC’s development and purpose, with insights from more than a dozen men and women who have been instrumental to its development and continuance. AGSC members who attended the February committee meetings in Hawaii got an exclusive sneak peek at the documentary’s draft.

“I can’t wait for all of our members to see it,” says AGSC president Jacques Navant. “It puts into perspective all the good the Council has done for the industry over the years and how much it has grown.”
The film will debut with a special screening at a movie theater near the host hotel in San Antonio the evening of Aug. 27. The premiere will be a red-carpet event. There is no charge to attend, just wear your Auto Glass Week™ 2026 badge.
