The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) has provided a sample letter for members to address legislation based on the National Council of Insurance Legislators’ (NCOIL) model glass act.
The letter, available in the member-exclusive document library, explains why requiring shops to obtain a claim number before accepting a job or allowing insurers and third-party administrators to “recommend” auto glass facilities could hurt both shops and consumers.
AGSC members can personalize and file the letter with their state legislators.
