The AGSC Government Relations Committee met via teleconference in October and discussed strategies supporting AGSC’s efforts to incorporate the AGRSS into state law. Staff provided updates on the Maryland proposed regulations based on the new state auto glass safety law and the California efforts to issue revised auto glass safety regulations. Staff also reviewed AGSC initiatives to have the model auto glass safety legislation introduced in other states.
The next meeting of the Government Relations Committee will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Tampa Airport Marriott Hotel, in conjunction with the planned AGSC/NWRD Board and Committee meetings.
