The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) has created a new video with an inside look at a recent windshield catastrophe that highlights the importance of a safe windshield installation.
The video, available on YouTube, www.safewindshields.org, and the Members-Only portion of the AGSC website, details an incident that occurred recently involving Stafford, Va., resident Holly Biller, who serves as vice president of Key Media and Research, the company that manages the AGSC. Biller and a coworker, Erin Harris, were driving to work together one day when a large spring struck their windshield, causing a massive impact to the windshield. The windshield remained intact and stayed attached to the vehicle, but the blow caused it to cave in and send glass dust flying everywhere.
Biller notes that not only was she able to use www.safewindshields.org to find an AGSC Registered Member company to replace the windshield properly, but also points out that this is a story that could have ended tragically.
In addition to posting the video on YouTube and the safewindshields.org site, the AGSC can customize the video for its members to use as a marketing tool, by adding their logo to the end of the video.
Please contact AGSC at info@agsc.org if you are interested in receiving a customized version of the video for your website.
