AGSC will introduce its two newest certifications at Auto Glass Week™ 2025.
These new certifications will be available starting in September:
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) certification for auto glass technicians
- Customer service representative (CSR) certification
The program for ADAS, as it relates to auto glass, will provide technicians with basic knowledge of how ADAS works and how and when to properly calibrate. The CSR certification program will verify the basic skills required to provide customer service in an auto glass shop. Certified CSRs will have a working knowledge of the industry, empathy and diplomacy in dealing with disgruntled customers. They’ll also learn how to incorporate a company’s AGSC membership into their dialogue.
AGSC will continue to offer certifications for replacement technicians, repair technicians and Master Technicians.
